Humanitarian Relief

Today at 4:30am PST, Peggy Doyle (a Puget Sound Energy – Emergency First Responder and bassist for Brothers of the Sonic Cloth), was joined by about 20 of her co-workers at Puget Sound Energy and boarded a plane bound for New York City to help provide relief for people and structures that had been severely damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.

Peggy will be working 12 to 14 hour days, seven days a week with her crew for almost three weeks to assess damage and help to restore service to people in the city. PSE is party to the National Mutual Assistance Agreement, “which means that they continuously monitor the event and will provide crews to the local gas and electric companies.” – President and CEO Kimberly Harris.

I am extremely proud of my wife Peggy and will miss her very much while she is away from home. – Tad Doyle
